Tips for Completing Mirror's Edge: Catalyst Mission: The Order of Gridnode
How to get data from the Grid and evacuate to the shelter of Plastic.
Quest objective: Gridnode will start with a large wind turbine on one of the buildings. Your goal will be a huge server room and help in hacking it. However, before that happens, you must climb to the top of the building. Start by passing through the turbine.
All servers are black with yellow wires that can safely serve as stairs, and they mostly go up to higher levels of the building. Eventually, you will reach the high room shown in the picture below.
There are no enemies here, but they can appear if you cut the blue laser beams too often.
In most cases, you cannot navigate through the central tube, but only in some cases when there are small pedestrian bridges leading to it. So your main way to travel is to jump between successive elements of the server room on the walls.
How to steal the data you need
Time is not chasing you, so choose the next steps with caution, especially since the sprinter's vision is inactive here. The most important thing to remember is to avoid blue laser beams. If you encounter them too many times, the guards will be alerted, and this may complicate the mission a bit.
As you climb the mountain, use the walls to run, slide under lasers, and jump onto servers. Eventually you will reach the yellow beam located from the wall to the middle pipe. Jump on it and swing the hardest, then jump to the other side. From there, jump to the next levels after the servers until you see an open room illuminated by purple light from the ceiling.
When you get to the main part of the server, chat on the computer and then calmly go to the elevator. So far, the evacuation will go smoothly, but when you get to a certain place, you will see a huge explosion a short distance in front of you.
Reach the shelter
Run through the door on the right and run straight ahead. Jump onto the second roof and climb up the chimney a few dozen meters in front of you. Continue along the only possible route, then go down the short staircase at the wall and turn left. Run along the inside of one of the buildings and follow the edge of its roofs.
Climb up the next pipe, and then bypass one of the enemies in one of the areas. Don't fight them, just keep running because of the helicopter in the air. Eventually you will reach a pedestrian bridge from which you will stand out and hook the bar. Swing on it, jump into the second and next building.
You will get inside, where you will enter the pipeline from the left side, then jump to the right and climb up. Continue traveling along the only possible route until you reach the plastic.
